The coronavirus infection rate has stopped rising across England, a new study has suggested.
The research by scientists at Cambridge University also shows the reproduction rate of the virus – known as the R rate– may have fallen to 1, which could indicate the growth of the pandemic is no longer escalating.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump Junior has tested positive for Covid-19, his spokesman confirmed.
The spokesman said the younger Trump learned of his diagnosis earlier this week, but he has no symptoms and has been quarantining.
The news comes as the UK recorded 511 coronavirus deaths and 20,525 new cases yesterday.
