With tomorrow being New Year’s Eve, the world can look ahead to saying goodbye to 2020 – a year quite like any other.
Seeing the back of a year like 2020 might be cause for celebration, but New Year’s Eve nights out are a no-go this year, meaning many of us will be throwing a party at home so you’ll need to stock up on snacks and festive cocktails.
If you need to pop out before New Years, here’s when Asda stores are open…
What are Asda’s New Year’s Eve opening times?
On New Year’s Eve, most Asda stores will be open from 7am and close at 7pm.
As opening times vary from store-to-store, it’s advisable to double check with the online store locator.

The supermarket made an unprecedented move for recent years, after staying closed on Boxing Day to allow workers more time with families.
What time does Asda open on New Year’s Day?
Asda will open later on New Year’s Day, with most stores open from 10am until 10pm.
Opening hours will then go back to normal on January 2, opening from 7am and closing at 10pm.
24 hour stores will open at 6am on January 2 before returning to normal.
