Ready for a good dose of property porn?
These homes for sale are guaranteed to be dreamy, as they’re the most viewed on Zoopla over the past month.
That means these are the most popular properties on the block.
While this time last year Brits were lusting over a mega mansion in Godalming, in June 2021 it’s houses in Wales that are taking our fancy.
Taking the top slot is a five-bedroom detached house near the beautiful coastal town of Llanelli.
Prices of the most-viewed homes range from £175,000 up to £2.75million, so there’s a good variety to choose from.
Tom Parker, consumer spokesperson at Zoopla said: ‘Properties in Wales have clearly captured the attention of home hunters across the UK with properties in Swansea and Carmarthenshire dominating the top ten.
‘With the memory of lockdown still fresh for many people, demand for coastal properties is increasing and with both areas located by the coast and offering reasonably priced properties, this might help explain why they are proving particularly popular.’
Interesting. Shall we look at the top ten, then?
1. Five-bedroom detached house, Llanelli, Wales, £550,000
Along with beautiful views across the coastline, this house also has a fire pit, a hot tub area, and a home bar.
2. Four-bedroom detached bungalow, Swansea, Wales, £420,000
The highlight here has to be the principal bedroom, which has its own en-suite bathroom and a dressing room, too.
3. One-bedroom flat, Purfleet, Essex, £175,000
The cheapest property on the list, this Essex flat is best suited to first-time buyers.
It’s right by Purfleet train station, which gives you easy access to London.
4. Four-bedroom detached house, Swansea, Wales, £295,000
Located in a catchment area for good schools and with four bedrooms, this is your classic family home.
5. Six-bedroom detached house, Batley, West Yorkshire, £2,375,000
Alton Hall is pretty fancy. There’s a 15-metre outdoor heated pool, six en-suite double bedrooms, a home cinema, and a gym. Dreamy.
6. Six-bedroom detached house, Llanelli, Wales, £799,950
Another place in Llanelli comes in at number six.
This one has its own gated grounds, so is ideal for anyone who wants some privacy – and plenty of green space to run around.
7. Three-bedroom detached house, Swansea, Wales, £260,000
And we’re back in Wales again.
This home has a stunning view over the local canal, as well as some lovely interiors.
8. Four-bedroom bungalow, Swansea, Wales, £279,000
Two brilliant bits in this bargain bungalow: the garden and the bathroom, complete with a glorious freestanding tub.
9. Three-bedroom terraced house, Tadworth, Surrey, £300,000
Coming in at ninth place is this three-bedroom home with easy access to Epsom, Banstead, and Sutton.
10. Five-bedroom detached house, Newquay, Cornwall, £2,750,000
Honestly, we’re surprised there’s only one Cornwall home in the top ten – it feels like everyone wants to move to the seaside.
This home has great views over the River Gannel tidal estuary, plus a summer house, a plunge pool, and a modern, open-plan living space.
It’s also the most expensive property on the list.
