While we’re thankful for the joy of the sunny weather, heat does come with some issues.

Sweat, thirst and thigh chafing are three that immediately come to mind.

Because warm weather is high time for shorts and skirts, the latter is one of the worst caveats of high temperatures.

Most of us truly know the pain and irritation that comes with thigh chafing. Shorter hemlines seem like a good idea at the time but later on, we all live to regret the decision.

However, one mum has come to save the day after sharing a genius £1 hack to stop the burning sensation.

Erin, known as @mumlifewitherin on TikTok, shared her ‘chub rub’ hack in a video that has been viewed over 400,000 times.

‘To all of my fellow thick thighed shes, hes and theys, let me put you onto something real quick,’ Erin told her followers.

Erin then produces two products that she swears will cull the problem.

The first is liquid talc that she bought from ASDA’s baby range, Little Angels.

‘Think it’s 97 pence,’ Erin said. Online the product is listed at £1.20 but it is still an incredible bargain.

The second saviour buy is Lush Silky Underwear dusting powder.

Erin advised users to take some of the liquid talc from ASDA and rub it on both thighs.

‘You then get this (Lush Silky Underwear) and put it on top,’ she explained. ‘I’m telling you chaf no more!’

She also told viewers to carry the Asda talc in a handbag because it is small enough to fit.

Those in the comments couldn’t be more grateful for Erin’s smart hack.

‘I’m getting some in my shop this week,’ wrote one user.

‘These are the kind of life hacks I’m here for. Thank you,’ said another.

Meanwhile, some took the time to share their anti-chafing tips also.

One helpful viewer commented: ‘If you can’t find liquid talc anywhere, try Lanacane. It’s from Boots and it works well for me.’
