Murder arrest as man, 44, dies from ‘multiple injuries’

A man, 48, has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man, 44, was found dead from 'multiple injuries' in New Park Road, Lambeth.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a body was found in south London.

A 44-year-old man was found dead by emergency workers shortly before 7am in New Park Road, Lambeth, on Monday.

A post-mortem exam has listed ‘multiple injuries’ as his cause of death.

His next of kin have been informed but formal identification is yet to take place.

Met Police confirmed a 48-year-old man was arrested on susipicion of murder on Wednesday.

He is being questioned in custody at a south London police station.

Today forensic tents were seen on New Park Road, as officers combed the area for evidence.
