When did Black Friday begin?

Black Friday started off as an American tradition.

As Thanksgiving always falls on the fourth Thursday in November, the following Friday is often observed as an unofficial holiday. With many people are off work, shops will drastically cut prices to start the Christmas season.

The earliest evidence of the phrase Black Friday dates back to 1961, and was used by police in Philadelphia to describe the heavy pedestrian and vehicular traffic that would occur on the day after Thanksgiving.

When is Cyber Monday 2021?

Cyber Monday is a newer holiday that often accompanies Black Friday.

It comes the Monday directly after Black Friday and follows the same concept as Black Friday but for online retailers and deals.

Cyber Monday 2021 falls on November 29.
