Joanie Clothing is known for its cute prints, wearable fits, and putting a vintage spin on everyday staples.

The fashion retailer has just launched a new collection that takes this to the next level, as part of a collaboration with the Natural History Museum.

Every item in the 18-piece line is made from a sustainable fabric blend – including organic cotton, Lenzing, Ecovero, viscose, and Livaeco Viscose – to highlight both collaborators’ commitment to greener practices that are better for the planet.

Designed in collaboration with the Natural History Museum, the range features iconography and illustrations from their collections alongside classic Joanie shapes – as well as some brand-new silhouettes, too.

Expect classic styles with a bend towards the natural world, from an abstract print that, when you look closer, is actually made up of ammonite fossils, to autumnal t-shirts featuring octopuses and tawny owls.

Joanie’s Brand Director, Lucy, says: ‘We wanted the collection to play like a “Greatest Hits” album by the Natural History Museum. We visited the galleries and library (and the gift shop) to try to understand what it was that people really loved about the Museum.

‘We trawled through the archives to find THE kitschest dinosaurs, THE cutest owls, THE creepiest of crawlies and THE most wearable whales!’

Max Lister, Head of Licensing at The Natural History Museum, adds: ‘We are absolutely delighted to be working with the team at Joanie.

‘We have been fans of the brand for some time now and love the way they approach their collections, both in the way that they celebrate the individuality of women’s fashion and their commitment to adopting sustainable fabrics and practices.’

With that, we’ve rounded up our favourite buys from the range.
