Moment man in ‘Scream’ mask robs smoke shop with assault rifle

A robber wearing a mask from the movie ‘Scream’ stole thousands from a smoke shop in Queens.

A terrifying video shared by the New York Police Department shows three masked robbers hold up an Ozone Park store called Brianna’s World at gunpoint.

One of the criminals can be seen holding an assault rifle and wearing the iconic black-and-white mask of the character Ghostface, the villain from the ‘Scream’ franchise of horror films.

Security camera footage shows the robbers run out of a black Mazda 3. Ghostface leads the crew, wearing a yellow jacket and blue pants.

The other two robbers wear dark hoodies and black masks. They were armed with handguns, police said.

The crew bursts into the smoke shop, where Ghostface blocks the entranceway and points the rifle at the 7 people inside.

The customers appear terrified. One person drops to their knees as the gunmen arrive. Another cowers on a small couch inside the store.

One of his accomplices then goes behind the counter with a bag, which they fill up with cash from a register and cell phones from the people in the store.

The same black Mazda pulled around to pick up the thieves.

The robbers made out with at least $3000 in cash, the NYPD said. No arrests have been made, and police are asking the public’s help in identifying the robbers and the getaway car.

This is not the first robbery caught on camera in New York City this year. In July, security footage was released showing robbers hit a man in the Bronx with their car, before getting out and looting his body.

That same month, a bishop in Brooklyn was robbed while he was livestreaming a sermon on Facebook Live. The thieves made out with over $1,000,000 in jewelry from the heist, the bishop reported.
