Morocco World Cup fans are partying it up in London after their shock victory over Spain.
The team has sealed a spot in the quarter-finals for the first time in their history after winning on penalties in Qatar.
Ecstatic fans can be seen waving flares, singing and dancing in footage posted on social media tonight.
Horns were blasting and Moroccan flags were said to be ‘everywhere’ on Edgware Road.
Lucie Bickerdike, who posted one video on Twitter, said she filmed the jubilant scenes from a bus.
She wrote: ‘Edgware Road is utter bedlam. Did something happen in the #WorldCup?’
Later, she added: ‘Trust me to decide on a bus journey down Edgware Rd just as Morocco win, this is insane’.
Other people on social media advised Morocco supporters to head to Edgware road ‘immediately’, with one person writing ‘Absolute SCENES’.
Hundreds of other fans were seen singing as they celebrated together on Oxford Street in central London.
The result means Morocco – the last African side in the tournament – will play the winner of Portugal’s clash against Switzerland in the last eight on Saturday.
The game on Tuesday went to a shootout after it finished 0-0 after 120 minutes.
Morocco won 3-0 on penalties, with Spain-born Paris Saint-Germain star Achraf Hakimi registering the winning spot kick after slotting home a cheeky Panenka.
