Donald Trump said his remark about injecting disinfectant into his arm was ‘sarcasm’ after and called Joe Biden stupid at the first presidential debate in Ohio.

Biden said, ‘This is the same man who told you by Easter it would be gone away, like a miracle.  Maybe you could inject some bleach in your arm and that would take care of it.

Trump responded, ‘That was said sarcastically and you know that.’

The president had been discussing how the military was going to deliver vacinnes to cities, when Biden brought up the disinfectant comment.

President Trump said in a press conference in April that it might be possible to inject bleach in a person’s arm to help fight Covid.

Here’s what the president said in Thursday night’s briefing:

‘And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute,’ he said. ‘One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning.

Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. So it would be interesting to check that. So, that, you’re going to have to use medical doctors with. But it sounds, it sounds interesting to me.’

He also added that he thought it was ‘a great thing to look at’ in regards to the bleach injection.

Over 200,000 Americans are dead due to coronavirus under Trump’s presidency.

This was the first debate between President Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden.
