The House select committee investigating the January 6 Capitol riot reportedly plans to vote to subpoena former President Donald Trump.
Committee members intend to question Trump about his role in the events leading up to the deadly insurrection, sources told The New York Times.
The committee’s chairman, Rep Bennie Thompson, at the start of a hearing on Thursday said the panel could vote on ‘further investigative action’.
